Join us on Monday, November 10th, 2008 to help us celebrate 10 years of supporting Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Houston!
The tournament will be take place on all three courses of Cypresswood Golf Club, 21602 Cypresswood Drive, Spring, Texas, 77373.
Last year, the Swing for Kids' Sake Tournament (SFKS) raised more than $270,000! All proceeds helped match at-risk children with a caring adult mentor to help them reach their full potential.
This is your chance to see what Big Brothers Big Sisters is all about. Sponsors are invited to volunteer as a golf instructors at “Little Links,” a golf clinic for Littles, run by The First Tee of Houston.
Little Links is held the day before the Swing for Kids’ Sake Golf Tournament The First Tee of Houston teaches “Nine Core Values” along with golf: honesty, integrity, sportsmanship, respect, confidence,
responsibility, perseverance, courtesy, and
judgment. Littles are shown that these values are critical to both golf and life.
Many of our Littles have never picked up club before, much less been to a golf course. As a volunteer, you can help spark a life-long passion for the game in a young person.
To sign up as a volunteer, contact Connie Johnson at connie.johnson@bbbs.org.
We are now accepting sponsorship and foursome reservations! Act now - the tournament sold out well before November last year.
