Little Links 2007 set for Sunday, November 11 at Cypresswood Golf Club
The 2007 Swing For Kids' Sake Golf tournament will kick off on Sunday, November 11th with Little Links, a golf workshop for children. Little Links is sponsored by The First Tee of Houston, and was open to all Littles and Bigs currently enrolled in the BBBS program. The First Tee, an initiative of the World Golf Foundation, has as its mission, " to impact the lives of young people by providing learning facilities and educational programs that promote character-development and life-enhancing values through the game of golf." Their goal is to provide the golf learning facilities and the experience that will enable kids from every walk of life to partake of a game that teaches values for life and which can be played for a lifetime.
Registration opens at 11:00 am
Lunch and lessons from noon - 3:30 pm
